Allow me to introduce myself….

My name is Lauren Tanner, and I live and work in Washington, DC.
I am a California native that ended up on the east coast, by way of
Nashville, TN. I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2005 with a
double major in Communications and Art History.

For the past two years I have been working in Public Relations in DC,
and I am a project manager for a company named Global Vision
Communications. We offer a full suite of PR services, but have been
working primarily in the issue advocacy and association world. We
provide technological communications for our clients that range from
building websites to creating blogs to developing online messaging and
advertising, all the way to email list acquisition. We offer all the
nuts and bolts for online communications.

I have created this blog as part of my course work for my Masters in Communications at Johns Hopkins University.
